Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What’s the difference between Delta-9 THC, THC-a, CBD, CBN, THC-v, CBG, and THC-p?

A: These are all cannabinoids—natural compounds found in cannabis—but each has unique effects:

  • Delta-9 THC is the main psychoactive compound in cannabis, responsible for the "high."

  • THC-a is the raw, non-psychoactive form of THC found in fresh cannabis. It converts to Delta-9 THC when heated.

  • CBD is non-intoxicating and known for promoting relaxation, reducing anxiety, and easing pain or inflammation.

  • CBN is mildly psychoactive and often associated with promoting sleep and relaxation.

  • THC-v may help curb appetite and boost energy, with a milder high than Delta-9.

  • CBG is non-psychoactive and being studied for its potential to support mood, focus, and gut health.

  • THC-p is a highly potent cannabinoid—up to 30 times more active at THC receptors than Delta-9—potentially producing stronger, longer-lasting effects in small doses.

Q: Is it legal to buy cannabis products in La Crosse, Wisconsin?

A: Yes—with limits. Hemp-derived cannabinoids like CBD, Delta-8, Delta-9 (if under 0.3% dry weight), and others are legal in Wisconsin under the 2018 Farm Bill. We only sell products that meet state and federal legal standards. Recreational marijuana (with high-THC cannabis) remains illegal in Wisconsin, so we do not sell that.

Q: Will your products get me “high”?

A: Some will, and some won’t—it depends on the cannabinoid. Products with Delta-9 THC, THC-p, or THC-v can cause psychoactive effects. CBD and CBG, on the other hand, won’t get you high but may support relaxation or wellness. We clearly label all products so you know what to expect.

Q: Do I need a medical card to shop here?

A: Nope! Wisconsin doesn't have a medical cannabis program, and all of our products are legally available to adults without a prescription or medical card. You must be 21 or older to purchase Delta-8, Delta-9, and other intoxicating cannabinoids.

Q: Will I fail a drug test if I use your products?

A: Possibly. Many drug tests screen for THC, and cannabinoids like Delta-8, Delta-9, and THC-p can trigger a positive result—even in small amounts. If you're subject to testing, we recommend avoiding any product that may contain THC.

Q: What kinds of cannabis products do you carry?

A: We carry a wide range of hemp-derived products, including edibles, vapes, tinctures, topicals, pre-rolls, and flower. Whether you're looking for something relaxing, uplifting, or non-intoxicating, we can help you find the right fit.
